Microsoft Excel is the universal business tool. It is the multitasking tool that everyone can use. Excel skill is a basic requirement in most business settings. Here is my list of top 5 places where I have learned Excel for free. I have used each of these resources many times. I recommend them to you. Add them to your resources and you will learn lots.

Microsoft Excel is perhaps the most important computer software program used in the workplace today.

Top 5 Free Excel Sites

1. Microsoft Help Center

This website has lots of guides, videos, and articles. I use it for looking up a specific function like VLOOKUP.

2. Dave Bruns: Excel Jet

Dave Bruns runs this great website with comprehensive guides for formulas, keyboard shortcuts, and functions. I love the shortcuts in the video below. I had to watch it several times and take notes! This site also is very helpful for Mac users as well as Windows users. Check out the page 222 shortcuts for Windows and Mac. Follow on Twitter.

3. Bill Jelen: Mr Excel

Bill Jelen has been on Youtube for over 10 years and has thousands of great videos. This is a great resource with so many good teaching videos. Find him on Twitter.

4. Mike Girvin: Excel is Fun

Mike has over 2800 videos on Youtube. He has over 86 million views. Wow. It is a great resource for financial and statistical help. I have learned so many things from this channel. Keep up on Twitter.

5. Leila Gharani

Leila has the newest Youtube channel of these but it is great especially for finance and data visualization. She is very helpful on creating amazing charts. Her video on Special Graphs is fantastic, see below. You should visit her channel and also follow her on Twitter.

These are my favorite 5 places where I learn Excel. I recommend them to you and I hope they are very helpful.
